This is short for What You See Is What You Get. Although it's a general computer term, in the world of the adult webmaster, it usually refers to a type of webpage making software. An HTML editor that is WYSIWYG allows you to work on the page and see results as you create it. What you see on the screen is pretty close to how the finished webpage will look. You can visually drag webpage parts around, insert pictures & links easily, and do everything that you could do programming the HTML by hand. When the page is uploaded, it will look just as it did at the editing stage. WYSIWYG editors do away with the need to learn HTML coding. If you're getting into the adult website business, you might find it a good idea to start out with a WYSIWYG editor while you build up your first pages. You can always learn HTML later on.
